The Amazon Rainforest is located in the upper section of Brazil south of the Equator. Brazil is located on the east coast of South America (the same side as the South Atlantic Ocean). The Amazon rainforest is home to thousands of species of animals, bugs and plants. It is 3.1600 degrees South and 60.0300 degrees West.
